Dr. Rick Parigini is a fourth-generation native of northern Nevada, his great grandfather moved to Nevada from pizza Italy in 1905. His grandparents, parents and Dr. Parigini attended Sparks high school making his family just one of dozen that had three generations graduate from same high school. He received his undergraduate degree from University Nevada Reno and attended Dental and Orthodontic School in San Francisco at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, graduating 1994 and 1996 respectively. Dr. Parigini followed in his uncle's (Dr. Thomas Pitts) footsteps and took over his Minden orthodontic practice in 1998.

Dr. Parigini keeps current with the latest technology, including digital radiography and photography, as well as computerized treatment cards and computerized treatment planning, in order to insure the most advanced treatment available.
Dr. Parigini stays abreast of the most advanced techniques and information in the industry. He belongs to many study clubs, both local and national, and feels learning and teaching are of utmost importance. Dr. Parigini has lectured to both local and regional dental groups in the area of early treatment. He has held offices in regional and state dental societies. He is the past president of the Nevada Orthodontic Society.
Dr. Parigini has four children and each is very accomplished and remarkable in their own way. He also has the privilege of saying he truly met his soulmate and they have an unconditional love for one another. Dr. Parigini enjoys many local outdoor activities, including snow and water skiing, cross country skiing, bicycling, tennis, golf, and weight lifting.
